2004 Homecoming loss to Army was ugly, but the worst was the Sun Bowl.

The defense on that particular day reminded me of what we've seen too much of this year. Ran the ball right up the gut. Whoever that tailback was for them ran 60+ yards it seemed on every series.

Initial Skip Holtz press conference.

The first time Skip lied to us.

Seriously? I understand having a problem with his coaching, but damm - I think you're getting a bit carried away.

Actually, compared to the rest of what's been going on in here for the last 4 days, that's almost a vote confidence.

I've intentionally not logged in too much lately, to clear the head and because work is blowing up, but have more people than that guy accused Skip of lying? That's taking it too far, getting away from job criticism, which is warranted, to personal attacks, which isn't ...

3 plays in 3 Games (RU,Conn,Cinn) in 2007.

1. Fumble forward

2. Nullified Ford's TD by holding penalty.

3. CM2 dropped in end zone.

No need to question Skip's honesty or integrity. Skip is known to be a great guy of high integrity and I have not heard one thing that would lead anyone to question that.

I'm sure he is doing everything he is capable of to right the ship. If he doesn't have the coaching or motivational ability to build a winning program at this level then so be it, but that's not a reflection of his integrity.

I know the stage is bigger now, but I'll throw out a couple from back in the day:

1997 losing to Drake (non-scholarship)

1998 - Willie Taggart bringing WKU back in Tampa

at James Madison I think was 1999, when it seemed like we racked up about 100 yards of total offense.

Losing at hapless Baylor in 2000, which saw the beginning and the end of Anthony Henry being a two way player.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
