My standards are low...I would be happy with an NIT and going deep in that tournament.

it's too late ... the talk was already started earlier. Personally, 11 games to go in conference is way too early to start talking about it ..... but the other way to look at it is that we may as well talk about it now because there may not be a chance to later.

Stan is not the man. But you can thinking that. He last here forever because of patches of success, but it will never be long lived. And by Success I mean 1st round tournament loss. This guy can't coach any better that that.

Dude, you edited your post and it still came out like that??

Here's a thread made just for folks like you: Basketball History (Voodoo5). A first round loss in the NCAAT would be the most success we'd have had in 20 years. Let's get a taste of that "success" and THEN start whining about going further ...

I can't say how much I love hearing a fan of a team that has been to the NCAA Tournament twice in its history and never won a tournament game turn his nose up at the idea that getting to the NCAA Tournament is a big accomplishment. It made my night. One of the stupidest things I've read on this message board.

Stop with the tourney talk, best is NIT.

The Bulls have been winning with defense. They haven’t allowed more than 65 points since giving up 70 to Kansas on Dec. 3, and they have held each of their past five opponents to 60 points or fewer. They have held 15 opponents this season to 60 or fewer. Their defensive prowess makes up for a mediocre offense; only two players average in double figures, the Bulls have more turnovers than assists and they shoot just 33.2 percent from 3-point range.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
