You guys are nuts, the Big 12 is poaching TCU and Houston should those schools leave. Texas can sell that conference by themselves. They're not going to the Pac 12. They've got a giant network deal, and the Big 12 deal to supplement it.

No way TCU goes to the Big 12...there is way too much politics for that to happen. It would be like USF wanting UCF in the BE.

Texas wouldn't care, TCU isn't taking them out.

Texas A&M isn't playing to get what they want out of the Big 12. They're looking elsewhere because of the ESPN/Texas contract. That is going nowhere

Those 4 plus the BE current 9 makes for an awkward number.

NO WAY the politicians allow Texas and TAMU to seperate. If it does happen at all it will take a while and it will be a fight to the end. They cannot simply sign a contract with the SEC and say we are going. The good 'ol boys will raise a lot hell before that happens. In essence TAMU (based on a better conference...SEC) will look better to a lot of recruits and UT will try like hell to prevent that from happening.They are old school down there.

Do you really think that OU is gunna sit there and look like chumps and stay in the Big12? They will be looking to move and I think OSU is required to go with them.  So that's 3 teams gone.  After that I think dominoes start to fall and people are going to start being proactive so they don't get left behind.

Iowa State???? That would be a downgrade for even the BE. Where would all of these schools fit into the BE basketball side? And please don't tell me to get rid of some schools...not going to happen. The only hope is that the FB schools will walk but they don't have the balls to do that. At least not yet.
