Ignoring my original intent (which was actually not exactly mean spirited I just wanted to remember when we had these threads every single game we won, and while they annoyed many I loved them) that’s improvement and no one goes backwards by moving forward. Let’s just have some more steps forward to go with our steps backwards and everything is going to be okay.

You only had to go back to 2017 where we spent 15 weeks (more than any other time in our history) in the AP Top 25 and actually finished there, again for the first time in our history ...

The thing which used to make me cringe was "Are we going to be on GameDay?"

It is amusing that some are calling for patience today despite displaying none back then.  At least the season referenced the team had a pulse.

I already know that his take was that there were no "signature" wins. Unfortunately, the schedule really did not allow for that.  I think Illinois was the biggest brand on the schedule.
