To be fair, I think we all had this game as a loss at the beginning of the season.  

The fact is, there is a lot of damage from CCS and CJS that has to be undone.  I was hopeful that this year would be a turnaround year and we have outperformed my expectation so far.  Do I think we could have won more games this year?  Hell yeah!  But we are coming off a 1 win season and lost good talent to the transfer portal.  I think CAG and crew and doing fine for their first season.

I am optimistic for this team, shoot we still have a chance to be bowl eligible if we take care of Temple and Charlotte.

Team we went up against today had a 3 year starting QB and a 4 year head coach. We were a bad call in the forst half away from beating them. This team in 3 years is gonna destroy this conference (or the ACC)

Just think how competitive we will be after 3 more realignments, VPMK is playing the long game with his continued success through failure strategy. Maybe we can even get this conference to a level we can have the longest home winning streak to open a stadium in college football history, super exciting stuff.

There is no excuse for a top 50 public school in a recruiting hotbed in a growing metro area that has had success historically to have gotten so bad. It baffles me every time I think about it. I can only hope that the board and president have learned their lesson that failure is unacceptable in Athletics and are willing to hold people accountable going forward. 

Memphis is a terrible school with terrible facilities in a meh city and yet they've been to 10 bowl games in a row. 

It makes absolutely no sense.

The variable is accountability.

We should definitely not be as bad as we have been. But incompetence at the upper level will do that. Back to back horrible football hires will derail any program. Hopefully Golesh is the real deal.
