I would like us to catch up to what opponents are dishing on us but it doesn't seem likely. As for my stat wishlist I made at the beginning of this thread, I feel we can still get 25-30 sacks if we can stick to at least what we are averaging (3 sacks a game). We are averaging 8 TFLs per game, if we can stick to our average, we can hit 85+ TFLs. I'm not sure about the INT's anymore. I'm just hoping to match what we did last year at this point. With 7 games left, I would hope we can get at least 4 before the year is over. Shout out to Jonathan Ross. So far he is our most productive defensive lineman. at least statwise. Anyways, Go Bulls! Last season we were #129 (out of 130) allowing a 50.3% conversion rate. This year we are 33rd in the nation allowing 33.8%. That is a massive improvement and absolutely needed given the way we run our offense. So long as the 3rd down defense continues to hold, this team will continue to win. 2

Just like the offense with the deep balls, when the D starts grabbing every opportunity on turnovers, it'll look a whole lot better. We're 3-2 and on track for a bowl game and it still feels like we haven't seen a complete game from this team.

And both of the losses (yes, including Alabama) were winnable. I guess it's also fair to say that the 3 wins were losable, too, considering that all 3 of them scored points on us before we could score on them. Winning teams figure out a way to win games--That's the difference I'm seeing here compared to the last 3 years.
