If we were all devout, season ticket holding, luxury pew seated Catholics, we would assume that yes, sports fans, we have a pope.

But, since we're all Bulls, it could be interpreted to mean that the dumpster fire is, in fact, still raging or it's just a head gasket that needs replacing. :iconic_u_black:

I do not understand why VPMK is so inept and drawn out in hiring new Coaches.

It seems that every hiring process is so drawn out and has so much drama.

Close the deal on Ryan Odom already!

Well, being the son of a fireman, the white "smoke" shows that they are putting the fire out. Hopefully the dumpster.

Just went over to the Utah State message board and this being drawn out actually makes some sense with what they're saying...

Ryan Odom to USF is a done deal, the decision was made on the 24th. But Ryan Odom's buyout is currently 1.2 million, on April 1st it drops off a lot (estimates to around 800k).

Currently USF and Odom are fine with waiting a week to sign to save 400k, and are playing chicken with Utah State to get them to reduce it so both schools can move forward. KUTV reported yesterday that today he is on a plane back to their campus. 

If that is to tell his team he is leaving we could hear the announcement today or tomorrow.

Interesting. Makes a ton of sense. Im with USF on this. Wait it out and save 400k.

Couldn't we just call the school and negotiate the buyout if don't want to pay the full price?
