Didn’t we used to play them in the Sun Belt?

Yeah we did when we were a basketball school and then we became a football school. VCU had more tournaments runs in hoops so there basketball prestige is higher right now.

There are middle schools with more basketball prestige than USF

Perhaps but not by that much. However, we are in a better conference, we have power 5 ambitions, and we are located in Tampa Bay ( home of great beaches and the Salvador Dali museum). I know Odom spend some time at USF, so I know he must miss it.
