I think we all are disappointed about how the last 4 years have gone. However start winning games in football and basketball, and built the OCS, and I think we can be relevant again. Things can change fast in the current landscape. Just look at Tulane; if they can sustain what they are doing now in football and basketball; they could be looking at relevancy again. If teams like SMU and San Diego State can be admitted to the PAC there is no reason, that if we do things right, we can't make the move up to a better conference. The national audience remembers that USF at one point was a rising program, who won bowl games, and beat top 25 teams. We are seen as a at one point rising program who has fallen on hard times. Even with all the losing recently we are still averaging about 35,000 in attendance, I am sure that is helpful to our case

Also  if the AAC can avoid losing more teams and add teams like Boise State, Fresno State, Colorado State, Army and Air Force being stuck in the AAC is not the end of the world in the short term

Yes, he was very high on him which further illustrates his knowledge about anything of relevance.  He is dead ass wrong, the future is bright.
