Seeing that Da Prato is out on the recruiting trail, does that mean he got retained?

Hope so.

Depending on when his contract ends, could just be doing the job he's getting paid for ...? Not sure how that works.

Maybe Gollesh likes to have a face to face to let people go, so Da Prato is staying out on the recruiting trail as long as possible....if he stays out there long enough and Gollesh forgets or pulls in someone good, he can keep his job....win/win...

I'm sure that will happen and could work out sometimes, but that can't be good for team chemistry.

This is the new reality of college football. It's essentially free agency every off season. I think Golesh understands this and will find innovative ways to succeed in this new environment.

I agree. As it turns into that, we don’t have a chance.  Maybe a chance in a better conference.

disagree. I think it will benefit us. some top players that leave thinking they will be the man at alabama or UF or Georgia can easily come home and play for us if they aren't getting any time there.

already established players are less likely to leave IMO.

Yeah I think it goes both ways. Playing time in a high powered offense is still a selling point.

We'll see.  Talented players will use free agency to move on for greater NIL.  Many will be as disloyal as coaches
