Jeff Scott looks to be the only coach in FBS history to have coached at least 3 seasons and never win more than 2 games in a season. He legit could be the worst coach of all time. I think he is. I have a hard time finding worse than his record as a HC..it's worse in state history for more than 1 year. But we really need to move from Scott luckily he is no longer associated With program. I am struggling to really form an opinion. I like the man, his story, his background, and his attitude. I am underwhelmed with the coaching staff he is putting together. It feels a bit like a mish-mosh of people Golesh knew from various places on his journey, and I think that three? of them are first-time-position-coaches. Everyone starts somewhere, but do we need OL, TE, and OLB coaches that have never been a coach before? That said, ultimately it doesn't matter what their experience is if they win on the field next fall. So I could complain and vent about "who are these guys?" or I can wait to see what our 2023 class looks like, what the spring game looks like, and how the team prepares for 2023. But so far . . . I'm still "not completely sold" on Golesh. 2

But Coach Golesh has my attention. Listened to his Jim Rome interview. His professional approach to taking on the responsibility of head coaching is just awesome. You can tell Jim Rome was impressed. He's a nice guy. Well, the world is packed to the brim with nice guys. Some of 'em pan out, some don't. Nice and competent don't go hand-in-hand (ref: any office I've ever worked in). So, for me, it's a case of wait and see. Coach Speak loses its mesmerizing effect over the years. Reminds me of the old Sam Kinison routine "In Love Nine Times".
