A Jamey Chadwell hire does nothing for us in the short term. He doesn't bring any immediate recruiting, donor, or season-ticket buzz. He brings an offensive mind to a team that is already averaging 30 points per game against better competition than any he faced. I'm not saying he couldn't be the right choice over time, but I think the NOW is more important than the DOWN THE ROAD for this program at this point in its history. I'll welcome him with open arms, but it won't move the needle at all for 2023.

Not gonna wait another two & half seasons while reading through all the USF posts crying about firing the coach. Getting blowout by McNesse St & shut out at home by UCIF was terrible. No thanks! I will pass.

Yeah, he's definitely a sleeper cell...they haven't activated him yet.  He'll get a phone call in the middle of the night and the voice on the other end will say 0-12 and he'll turn into a lean, mean, trolling machine.....

It's going to take at least two years of recruiting to rebuild USF football, regardless of who the coach is. It's already bad enough; now take into account players like Grier, Horn (likely), and Battie (maybe) transferring out and Boyles graduating.
