Deion's #1 choice is whoever is willing to give him what he wants. If it comes down to the exact same terms between USF and Colorado, it appears as though he'll choose USF.

don't think it's about the money. We will need to pay the assistants well but Deion doesn't need it. If he feels this job can lead to bigger and better for him and his people he will take it. Honestly I think we are the perfect stepping stone job.

Money has been an issue, both for Deion and for his assistants. Money for him was resolved, but he wants to make sure his assistants get paid too. That was a snag but it seems as though it has or will be resolved soon.

The potential hiring of Chadwell reminds me more of the Skip hire than it does of Scott. Just wondering what effect a Chadwell hiring will have on the players who may be on the fence about transferring out and may be hoping for Deion. Considering the amount of work that needs to be done, especially on defense, what will this look like if Chadwell's not a lights-out recruiter here? This might require a little time and patience.

FWIW, I do like the offense Chadwell runs at CCU, and I think it could work here.
