I know his resume runs deeper, but it looks like we’re going to be hiring a guy who just lost a game by 40 points without his star QB and whose defense gave up nearly half a hundred. They were outgained 502/183. Sounds about right. That should get everyone fired up. Best of luck to all of us and especially to Michael Kelly, who had to get this one right. I’m in full “show-me” mode for the foreseeable future.

Based on all the tweets about it being a splash, I'll go ahead and assume it's going to be Chadwell.

But, I don't know, seems like we have tried the good ole boy nice guy character as head coach a couple of times now, and it hasn't worked. 

Also, his 2022 recruiting class had 7 enrollees from Florida, but his 2021 had only ONE enrollee from Florida. Does this guy actually have good recruiting connections down here? Shouldn't we focus on hiring someone that can lock the bay area down? Don't know if Chadwell is the guy to do that.

Let’s all be honest, MK has run this program into the ground and why any of us thought he was going to fix this was hopeful thinking.  I have no faith in him or his decision making and whoever comes in has a tall order.  The good ole boy network has gotten old but if it is the only card you have then you play it, I am with Dave, do something on the field and until then this University can kiss my ass.

Chadwell had Coastal ranked with back to back 11 win seasons. He can recruit Florida. His offense is exciting. Come on, folks.

Eh... college football is a billion dollar machine, just like any other business. The good ole boy network is par for the course.

He has proven that he can succeed in the Sun Belt conference which is basically what the AAC is going forward.
