This is not the school though, right?  Just curious how much money comes in and where it goes.

Correct, it's a separate entity, but it is still an amount of money going to the players attending that school.  I think something came out last season about how SMU's NIL was around $57,000 per player for football and basketball, but I could be wrong.

I sat in and listened last night and learned a lot!

Bottom Line . . . USF needs to compete. Brotherhood, facilities, filled stadium and NIL money are all pretty much on equal ground for football athletes. I joined for $10/month.

any word on how many monthly subscriptions they have at this point?

Good to hear they bought out the UCF side of things so its completely independent now.

Correct, from what I understand it is separate from the school, but they communicate.

Regarding Fowler Avenue, money comes in and fees need to be paid, but they do not have any salary employees.

I think the recording is on Grothe's twitter if you want to listen to it.   NIL Discussion

Yes, the chat last night was about an hour 15 and covered a lot. Very informative.

I think what is going to be important is not what is collected, but what is paid out.  That is what will get attention.  Was there any mention on what was paid out to players?  I think they had a few twitter events with players.

Whether we like it or not the NIL is here to stay and will be needed to get good players to come and stay.
