Get merch, have players autograph it, sell it marked up, then the players get the difference. Then the players get our $$$ and the fans get something out of it too.

Cost more and takes longer . . . they are set up as a standard business. Sure there is more to it than that, not sure if others are non-profit. They work as a for profit, but without profits LOL.

Seems their fees are minimal.

There is a lot of room for fraud with these things.

I wouldn't mind if they gave ex players something like 10% of every dollar they raise add another 5% for administration. That would leave 85% to the players.

They threw out a 95% to players currently . . . Matt Grothe and Andrew Ketchel, both former players are involved.

IIRC, SMU is one school that said they were paying every player. Of course maybe each player washed the guys car for him one day... but I doubt it.
