I saw a couple plays where I thought some guys were dogging it and then they had to hit the gas when they found out their teammate didn’t make the tackle. But that’s been a problem for a long time. I don’t call that quitting. Unless quitting has become a tradition in the last five+ years.

Again, you see what you want to see. Looks to me like he let up when the receiver hit the 5 yard line. he wasn't catching him at that point ....

I saw the same thing - letting up about 5+ yards out

I am pretty sure that coaches teach this, since hitting (or even in some cases touching) a player in the end zone is almost a guaranteed unnecessary roughness penalty

As much as I'm ready for everyone in Athletics to be canned... I  can't get on board with the culture nonsense. Cmon guys, let's move on from this one.

Exactly what culture has Coach Scott improved on?

i see a culture of losing, incompetence and quitters!

Fire Coach Scott already!

The culture is not being prepared to play football at the start of the game, getting blown out in the first half, and winning the second half for moral victories! Lets hire the infamous locker room DJ!

I got it not giving it 100%. If you are not going to give it 100% the coach needs to call you out and/or find someone else that will give 100% if you dont.

Lots of players from lots of different teams alternate what they say on MNF. JPP said USF more times than games he had here and he gave us shout outs during SB celebrations. When you are down more things feel like a slight than would feel that way when you are up.

Current situation is certainly bringing out the lurkers ..... which I guess is to be expected with this nadir.

Maybe it’s the Field curse rearing it’s ugly head again, the Bucs look terrible.
