I don't disagree at all.

I have concerns about his lack of experience in a role so big and difficult as USF Football. Along with that of a rookie AD.

Sometimes, I'm afraid he's like the young guy that goes up to the plate to hit and goes through the whole Nomar Garciaparra pre at-bat routine, only to strike out on three cuts.  Goes through the motions, knows what it should look like, but contact with the ball is impossible.  Has never really swung the bat, just watched Nomar do it.  Now, standing there on verge of a third strikeout and people are thinking he looks like he knows what he's doing, but why can't he make contact with the ball?  Something's missing...

So what is missing? He has more support off the field than any other usf coach ever  with ipf almost complete, upgraded locker rooms, and an ocs. Not spamming just being honest. Nomar figured it out pretty quickly. In year 2 he was a stud and all star.

Did the young guy that Brad was actually referring to in his analogy ever figure it out?

I don't know, perhaps proven experience in the role?  If it's that, it would be ridiculous to expect him to turn things around in one week, so take a deep breath.

Like Willie, he's learning on the job.  Yes, Willie had three years at WKU where he lost more than he won.  Both inherited downward spiraling programs at USF.

I have my doubts as I have said before, but I can come to the conclusion "hollering" about it midseason makes no sense.

Willy made progress not regression in year 3. I don't think willy was losing games in the first half consistently still in year 3 at wku or usf.

I don't know why you feel the need to constantly provide well known information.  Never did I say or suggest he would follow the Willie path.  It's not that easy.  It doesn't just happen.

And if you want to play word games, Scott has not regressed in year three, he's holding steady.  That's progress!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
