Honestly think we would have more success having GB throw exclusively deep passes and use designed qb runs. He can’t throw anything from 0 to 15 yards with any type of success. He panics in the pocket and leaves too early which leaves him no options to throw.

I hope we can see two things: USF outscores Louisville in the 2nd half. USF gets first passing TD of the year.

We would still be 1-3 with Timmy. Dude wasn’t good. Put in Gunnar or Byrum for some snaps.

College football is funny man. We are getting absolutely destroyed by a team who’s QB can’t throw.

Allowing 3rd and long QB runs is getting real annoying. You can’t let that keep happening.

I definitely get a sense of loyalty from this group. Maybe coach turns this around and sticks around a while. That would be refreshing culture change. Like you said sustainability is key. That way if a coach does leave there’s enough internally (coaching and talent) to continue the program without taking major steps back.

If the playoffs expand, I’m hoping that can benefit AAC but like you said we are where we are.

I watched the entire interview. I want USF to succeed. Those two items just didn’t sit well with me and was curious if others felt similar. If we are to get donors we need to sell our program and whatever conference we are currently in.

Two things coach said didn’t come across well to me 1 - "I actually had another opportunity to interview at a school in our league that had just won the (AAC) championship. I chose NOT to pursue that because I believed in Michael Kelly's vision." That just comes across like we should be grateful to have him as our coach and how dare we criticize the process that results in three wins (Citadel, FAMU, and Temple). Jeff maybe you chose not to interview because you know you had no chance to get it and you secured the cash from USF. Interview does not equal offer. 2 - He mentioned several times “Power 5” and referred to USF as “Group of Five”. I mean I know we are in crappy conference that is about to get worse but what happened to all the “Power 6” talk. This just felt like acknowledging we are lesser. This coach can’t hype anything up. I struggle to see how our players get any motivation/fire pre-game from any of his speeches. Just sounds content. Your thoughts?

I hope this coach keeps it real in the postgame speech. I don’t want to hear participation trophy speeches. Just say the truth. We need some major recruiting fingers crossed. Can we run triple option and not throw? These QBs are pathetic. How did they even get scholarship? I am frustrated.
