Our playbook with Timmy was "run around and make something happen with your legs".  UCF can have that for free.  I'm more interested in what the coaches draw up for the QB they graded out at 90% decision making and 80% accuracy.

Haha, you nailed with this. I think it is also safe to assume that as a true freshman, the playbook was pretty basic for Timmy. I would hope that with a veteran QB that has a more developed skill set, the playbook would change and expand quite a bit.

Let's be real, it was a competition here but it wasn't. If he does end up with the Kanigits, I think he'll get more of a chance to really compete ...... and he'll be home, so good for him.

Are you saying he should be starting over Bohannon?

Bohanon's completion percentage was over 13% points higher than any other QB in fall camp and has by far the best tape, stats, and experience. Bohanon was a top 3 vote getter to be a team leader, Timmy got 0 votes. Gerry was a top 2 grit leader, Timmy never made the list. Timmy being the starter over Gerry would have been a lot crazier than whats happening.

I'm putting 0 weight into the no competition comments unless a story comes out about it. This coaching staff is on the hot seat, they need wins over everything. Thats why they risked Timmy transferring. If they thought he was better or even as good they wouldn't have hesitated to make him starter.

Timmy had a year head start on the competition .....

That’s not what reports said. But maybe there is truth to it.

So he sits a year allegedly at UCF and thinks he will win the starting job against better talent? Still makes no **** sense. To each their own. He would have started here at some point. I don't see him starting for UCF ever.

Guess i cant say ever... there is always a chance of injury.

There was no guarantee he starts here at some point

Meh... we're talking about a QB who couldn't win a game for us last year when the plays were called specifically for him. I'm not worried about him being able to win one for someone else when they've been tweaked for the guy who's better.

Absolutely not, just saying that GB was brought here to be a starter and he would have had to look like Matt Floyd and Timmy look like Q in his prime for TM to have retained the starting job. Apparently, GB came in and made it a no brainer for the staff .......... and my response was to someone saying because TM bolted now, that, if he doesn't get the starting job at the next stop, will he quit again, and was just pointing out they are two different situations.

He had a hell of a chance if he put his head down and learned from GB like GB did. If I'm not mistaken GB sat three years on the bench...

We actually had 6, Timmy had 5, so I hope that makes you feel better!
