I am wondering when college teams start differentiating payments based on skill/position - after all, is the next star QB worth the same as a guy you are bringing on as a third string kicker? At that point, they would basically be pro-teams

We are currently at +5000 to win a conference title. Get some (as much as possible) money together and put it on USF to win the AAC, all winnings go to the players and you spell this out to them. Therefore, you are incentivizing the players to play their best and win the title for the sake of a nice payout. It's a win-win-win as long they win. Fans get to watch their team play competitive, players make money if they win, and we all live happily ever after. On another note: This is mostly a joke, but I am gonna go ahead and place a bet for us to win the AAC. I like those +5000 odds.

And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobileAnd you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wifeAnd you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?" Same as it ever was, same as it ever was

What I mean is if there is no oversight, college athletics will be who pays the most money.

I don't see this lasting long in its current state at all.

Buy Kennesaw State, buy players, go Indy and beat the ESPN schools.

I pretty much gave up on pro sports awhile back because of the greed, etc. Now this. The bright side: I see more guitar time in my future.

I am not too worried, we have had nothing for so long that we really do not have much to lose.
