Guessing this would be the layout ... a North/South wouldn't balance as easy.

I prefer 6 Division Games, 2 Other Division Games, 2 P5 and 2 G5 . . . No More FCS games or at least greatly reduced as we have currently.

WEST

SMU

Tulsa

Memphis

Tulane

North Texas

USTA

Rice

EAST

USF

East Carolina

Temple

FAU

UAB

Charlotte

Navy

Navy will not move to the east. One of the conditions for them joining the conference was that they stay in the west for recruiting purposes. The rumors were that they were the main driving force to adding 3 Texas schools. That, and blocking the MWC from entering TX. Plus if Navy is in the east then Wichita St would have to be too. Thats a no-go.

Look for Memphis or Tulane to be added to the east. My bet is on Memphis.

Definitely seems like a mix of Navy plus trying to outmaneuver the MW. Don't think it matters for Wichita St though. Going off memory but I don't think any sports aside from football use divisions so there's really no AAC sport where they'd be east even if Navy was for football.

I get that they have to be considered one member so we have 14 football and 14 olympic sports but WS in the east doesn't affect any of this as there are no divisions in the olympic sports, right?  Saying WS to the east is a no-go kind of doesn't make any sense.

I still say go North and South and put Navy in the South so they can be with the Tejas schools if that's what they want.

GO BULLS!

Having Navy every year now would be excellent.  I don't care about these Texas teams.

In the new world order, my favorite conference away games will be (and in this order):  New Orleans, Annapolis, San Antonio and Memphis.  I'll go to Boca for every game and maybe hit up one of the others once per year or every other year.  I've been to every other city in the new conference at one time or another and I can take 'em or leave 'em.

GO BULLS!

Your last trip we lost 34-3, hopefully you can replicate that magic in the future, not.  A bunch of future jarheads, I will pass.
