His math is off.

$380 million per year divided by 12 teams is less than $32 million per year per school... not $50 million.

So UT and OU leaving costs the remaining 8 original Big 12 schools $10 million per year.

Brett probably means the total payout (TV, CFP, NCAA tourney, Bowl Games) not just TV is $50 million per school.

For Cincy, UCF, and Houston that represents more than a 600% increase in payout.
