You realize they all signed a grant of rights in their new media deal.  No B12 teams are leaving that conference.

As long as Miami and FSU is in that conference, no other team from Florida will be going there. They won't allow it.

So the new C-USA TV deal pays schools about $750k - $800k per school per year a nice increase to be sure.  But it's barely more than 10% of what each American Athletic Conference school gets in it's current deal - which is about just under $7 million per school per year.

Think what makes C-USA more relevant is if they can get a playoff spot whenever we see the 12 team playoff start. To me that is when college football will be reborn. Not sure how much I could of followed college football if they stayed at 4 playoff team format.

I think they will just try to position it where most of the top teams are the usuals.  They will try to normalize bigger name teams getting into the playoff with more losses.
