That is not a bad plan and I would do something similar and I agree our odds are much better.

Just read an article that said the PAC “should” target these B12 schools for expansion. It listed TCU, Ok State, and Baylor. I imagine if that happens some schools would push to join B10/ACC.

It was an opinion article. If the commissioners listened to opinion pieces, the Big East would still be around with ND as a full member.

This should get a few more openings. Obviously the Pac is no option for us, but maybe some big 12 schools move and something opens for us. Unless the Pac 10 wants some Florida exposure, but that would be very difficult for us.

Back in my day they used to think Pennsylvania was too Far East of Ohio to be in the Big 10
