Agreed, after the 3 leave nothing would raise the profile of this conference more than SMU/Memphis/USF all being consistent 9+ win teams

I am not sold that a team has to play in an OCS to get the attention of Power 5 conferences. Hasn't hurt Pitt or Miami for example.

I get the outcry that this is what is holding us back supposedly-- but in reality-- USF has plenty of other issues to overcome imo.

Colorado State is trash.

UAB will always be that team that shut their program down until they win something meaningful.

I would take App State over those two.

Coming off 3 10+ win seasons in 4 years with the odd one being a 9 win season they went 13-1 in 2019. In their rivalry game they had 18k people. Hosting the Sun Belt championship they had 18k people. They just have a long way to go in terms of building a fanbase.

They led the sunbelt in attendance for a few years recently and they win consistently.

Appy state and costal Carolina, then everyone else. Pick 4 more (sdsu/Fresno, CSU, UAB, Airforce, unlv, Boise, Nevada-Reno, others?)

Just wait until Westherford builds us that shiny new ocs in the next 2-20 years. Then we will see who has best facilities

UAB, UMass & FAU would be my choices, unless they’re looking west… then Boise, SDSU, Fresno
