We need work on defense. Tackling especially. Offense has some things to workout too but now the team finally has a QB to get behind.

Eventually all these things will translate in wins. It’s going to take some patience 1

The defense needs to stay healthy. We don’t have any margin for injury or error on that side of the ball. I think the SMU game will help us understand where we are in the conference. We hung with BYU and UF, so Cincy isn’t out of reach. But the d will need to be near flawless for that upset

Their QB is very good but he can throw picks…need a few of those.

I’m not sure who needs the help worse, the dline or secondary? We may need SMU to beat themselves with mental errors and such. I hope we get going out the gate on offense. We need to take another step forward as we enter conference play to build more confidence
