It was clear the team did not quit after starting off 21-0.

We need work on defense. Tackling especially.
Offense has some things to workout too but now the team finally has a QB to get behind.

Well it looks the numbers are pouring in nicely. Eventually all these things will translate in wins. It’s going to take some patience

The trend is for sure showing a team that is improving....unfortunately the defensive is lagging behind but I think they can be good enough that we can still manage to win 3-4 games maybe knock off a team we shouldn't like Cincy.

The defense needs to stay healthy. We don’t have any margin for injury or error on that side of the ball. I think the SMU game will help us understand where we are in the conference. We hung with BYU and UF, so Cincy isn’t out of reach. But the d will need to be near flawless for that upset

We will need to score in the 40s next week to have a real chance in my opinion. Their QB is very good but he can throw picks…need a few of those.

Any of the injured transfers coming back? We definitely need that help, and do we have any real safeties that can help? I’m not sure who needs the help worse, the dline or secondary?

We may need SMU to beat themselves with mental errors and such. I hope we get going out the gate on offense. We need to take another step forward as we enter conference play to build more confidence
