I read a series of three articles from the Oracle. Someone posted had link to it on one of the blogs. I can't find it now. I think it was in the Conf. Rumors and Tweet post. The Oracle article was written in a series of three posts and each post was written by a different person associated with the school. The second post was from a former Prof that mentioned the relationship between Tampa ans USF was not the best. Can someone find it and repost that link?

Pick a spot USF and start digging.   Poop or get off the toilet

Remember how long they took to build the Fraternity houses.  I remember the sign up by the baseball stadium announcing the future home.  How many years did that horse crap last.   Leads me to believe USF is filled with small minded thinkers who want to keep the school in a specific state.

Agreed. Except I don’t think they have the luxury to let this drag on. I think this will move much faster than previous builds at USF.

hope your right, if it is built around 5 years down the road I wonder what happens to some big home games we have coming up.

I think we're able to schedule big time P5's because we can alot them 20k+ tickets. When Miami comes in 2027 and Notre Dame comes in 2029 they might still want it to be at Ray Jay even if we have a stadium.

Curious if this is a factor in negotiating.

They can do that.  Nothing wrong with some games at Ray Jay when warranted

You're allowed to be wrong 😁

But seriously, other programs play games off campus.  Our basketball team is playing at Amalie Arena this year.  Why can't we on occasion?

If we're winning 10 plus games in consecutive season and get invited to play a Top Team in an alternate site - yes!, but to play in Ray Jay for a normal scheduled game against a Powerhouse? I say no . . . and I'm okay to be wrong 😁
