I don’t understand why people give this guy all of this credit when CCS was on record saying "I feel like once you get a stadium on campus, it's their home," Strong said that day. "It's what they defend, it's their house. And that's going to be critical, and that's going to happen." Both statements were equally detailed in the whole how thing which seems to be the stickier wicket.

First you hate on everything and now you're giving Charlie Strong credit for something positive?!

Holy crap dude you're the devil himself.

I don’t hate anything and I am giving no one credit I am saying that people that have no plans for success rely on empty phrases they cannot make materialize themselves. This sounds a lot like CCS’ approach to dealing with our football problem, it wasn’t a solution and it didn’t materialize into anything more than words. Saying something abstract isn’t a plan and just saying stuff isn’t a positive. There isn’t a devil but if there was this would probably be his suggestion on how we improve our problems because it involves not actually doing anything to improve ourselves and simply hoping that one day in the distant future something will change rather than an immediate course correction and self reflection.

No worries I’m just shocked by how quickly people can forgive abusers just because they say a nice hollow word every once in a while, we’ve heard this all before with the same amount of plan behind it and it always seems to end one way. What do these people have to finally do to not have us trust the words that come out of their mouth?

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
