Jarren Williams absent from practice day after Fortin was announced as starter. Kind of assumed he was gone. I think McClain is safe as he knows he's the future of this team, really hope we can keep Marsh though.

Fortin, Marsh, and McClain seem to be a pretty deep rotation, so I’m not that worried if Williams wants to bolt. We need guys that aren’t afraid of competition. I hope he’s around and hasn’t jetted just yet. But if he wants to go best of luck to him

If Jarren Williams did quit (total speculation at this point) it would be very disappointing to hear. Would really have to question whether he has the competitive drive to be the winner that a QB needs to be. I understand leaving Miami (coaching change) but there wouldn't be a reason to leave USF. Of course, if he was behind Marsh on the depth chart that could explain it as well. Regardless, I like the 3 guys that are left in that room and certainly don't want a disgruntled QB throwing off the obvious chemistry and camaraderie that this team is developing.

That would be weird because you never know what will happen in Game 2 and beyond.  It's not a lock for the whole year.
