Alabama. Not upgrades. USF and S.Alabama BOTH belong to G6 conferences. Its not a downgrade either. I do know that the TCU coaches are following him on twitter. I noticed Arizona coaches were following McCloud for the past month as well. I didnt think McCloud would end up at a P5 school and he did. N. Roberts had a waaaay better career at USF. So why rule out a P5 opportunity for him?

South Alabama absolutely is a downgrade from the AAC.

I don't dislike the kid, I just saw him get burned far too many times in the passing game. Hadn't really looked into the whole incident completely but ****, looked like Roberts had a chance to redeem himself a couple of days later and chose not to. I never really thought he was as bad as some on here professed, and I think we missed him the rest of he season, but ya gotta break some eggs to make an omelet and Chef Jeff did what he had to do for the future .... The best players play, he must have been the best we had per two head coaches. He wasn’t any good but either was our D line or LB’s so the **** rolls downhill and he was at the bottom. Won’t miss him but unlike Corey won’t hate on him either.

Not ruling it out however he is too small and his exit was less than flattering so the chance of this happening are very slim IMO.
