Even radio said something about it. For a player not very good he had a lot of balls to do what he did.

I watch the game on tv but sync it with the USF radio crew. Only you suckers sit and listen to ESPN announcers...must be the heat and the old people driving 😂

Went back and watched the clip and it showed the coach with what looked to be his helmet.  He was done for the game and, because of how he handled it, for the foreseeable future.

Even if one of the coaches told him he was done for the day, Roberts should have stayed on the sideline and supported his teammates. The fact that he walked off the field and took of his pads and jersey shows how little respect he has for his teammates and this is why scott must make an example out of him.

I know he is pissed but you got to keep your head. I suspect he knows there are plenty of people questioning his play this season.

I don’t necessarily blame Roberts for his play, I blame the coaches who keep putting him on the field when he’s clearly not a Division 1 player. He should be starring at an FCS or lower-level program. He doesn’t have any of the tools to be a D1 FBS football player. Not his fault. He’s out of his class.

No offense, but he's not the only one.

True, but he’s not playing AGAINST FCS-level schools. Therein lies the problem.  🙂

Can’t argue that, and didn’t say he was the only one. Thanks, Charlie Strong.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
