There is lots of work to do, but I am still  sticking to my prediction that a .500 would be over achieving.

That would be epic for this team.  I'm not sure there is a QB on the roster.

I LOVED that CJS did not kick a field goal on the first drive of the fourth quarter or the second to last USF drive of the game

Gutless Chuck would have kicked the FG just to say he did not get shutout

CJS kept playing to win, even when he was down by 45

And in the end we STILL had ZERO points. Get our kickers some in game experience.

Hm101 started this as a ***** free thread. Plenty of other threads for ******** on here. Please utilize one of them.

Spirit of the thread got sidetracked, me included, so please try to honor it.

Not aimed at you Gator but rather at now missing posts ...

Since this is the positive thread, I figure I’d add a positive take to the current situation.

I don’t think CJS would have taken this job if he didn’t get a strong reassurance from Kelly and the Pres about the University’s commitment to take this program to a higher level.  He had other opportunities at higher profile programs but he chose to come to Fowler Avenue and Kelly and Dabo were huge reasons why.  If he didn’t think he could win here I don’t believe he would have taken the job.  We just have to give the process some time.

Go Bulls!

Good point he could have waited and got a few more national championships and became even more marketable.

1. I still have faith in Noah johnson. They just need to let buddy loose and let him get into a rhythm. If he can't do it, then Cade Fortin should be able to step up.

2. Demontrey Jacobs was granted immediate eligibility. I think this is a huge upgrade over Jopple and expect him to take the starting spot. With Demontrey Jacobs and Jennings at the tackle spot, Cecil at center, Demetrius Harris and Wigg at Guard, we should be able to give the QBs a few more seconds to actually throw the ball.

3. Kicking - Im hoping when Jared Sackett finally hits the field, then we will have a real field goal kicker.

4. Defense - Im hoping Glen spencer can figure something out. I personally think they need to give Thomas Nance some playing time at DE. Darian Grant and Jabril Stephens are a bunch of busts. It's time to go younger.

I still think we can pull 8-9 wins. Navy got spanked by BYU a team we beat last year and they still ended up beating Tulane the week after. Im not ruling out a winning season this year.

Zero emotions on this one.... i saw a lot of discipline, some bad calls on the refs, and I like the play calling.

We have very little depth and piss poor recruiting over the years.

You got that one. Bad calls vs No calls. Seems holding, hanging on or taking a player to the ground( saw one that was a pure body slam w/ jersey hold) didnt get a flag. Not once but multiple times. Wouldn't have changed the score(??) or... I know it's ND so there needs to be some form of Divine Intervention but...

Our starting quarterback for 2021 isn't on the roster yet. All these guys are trying out for a one year gig tops.

Where have a I heard this one before.  However, since this is the positivity thread. Go 2021 QB!

On a positive note, we have college football back! It may not look that good now, but it sure beats watching HORSE on ESPN, or talking to people, or watching gay porn, or debating politics, or figuring out I am NOT a carpenter and shouldn't be doing anything related to home improvement.

As bad as 52-0 is and looks and feels, there is another game and its something to look forward to as we hurdle ourselves through the work week. Being a USF fan doesn't feel great right now, but basketball in 2 months away, the Lightning are in the Stanley Cup final, the Rays could steal a World Series and we have the GOAT.

In the time of Covid-19 those are pretty good distractions to have if you are a Bay Area fan. Okay, I need to go get an IV or something, because that was way too much positivity in one....getting light headed....fghvfhjbvhbvfejvbhf

Dude you must be exhausted
