Not even mad... a thread for the positive folks out there

Well, OK, anytime USF loses, I'm upset. But we have a (1) underdeveloped team, with a (2) new staff, (3) playing a playoff caliber team. So I understand. 

BUT I saw some positives today. 

1. Players walked off the field with heads held high. This small gesture in body language tells me something about their attitude and grit. 

2. We had , I think 49 rushing years in the first half, 45 on that one Ford run. It was abysmal. But the first drive of the second half, we came out swinging and got multiple first downs on a 50+ yard drive. The coaches and players *adjusted* and didn't give up, despite a 35 point deficit. 

I can't enforce anything but hoping we can keep this thread to focusing on positives.

How can you be mad? I don't know what people expected? The program is a dumpster fire and we're rebuilding, deal with it!

I like that we had an on field meeting before heading to the locker room. I am not sure what we addressed in it but that we had one seems to indicate that we recognized that you can’t just ignore what happened on the field and as the head of the program you need to address it and the plan forward to rally the troops.

Thought I read that we didn't have any LSers left so that was kind of a moot point. I would have been torn if he had tried one, though, knowing that Kelly really wanted to shut us out ...

We are who we are till Scott has had time to get more of his players in here and we get rid of Strongs players. 

I think some need to relax ND is way out of our league right now in a year one rebuild yeah was nice to dream of putting up a good fight but it was never going to happen unless ND turned the ball over like 4 or 5 times or they played equally as sloppy which they didn't.

Zero emotions on this one.... i saw a lot of discipline, some bad calls on the refs, and I like the play calling. 

We have very little depth and piss poor recruiting over the years.

I'm glad we get to watch college football, and hopefully will be able to attend some home games this year. I'm looking forward to making some memories with my son. I believe CJS will turn things around.
