What a game. David and White were flying all over the place.

Defense looked great...I feel this team is really rallying around Brady and possibly peaking at just the right time.

GB game should be a good one.

I felt really bad for Brees. I think he's been class act most of his career and that's a horrible way to end it ..... The rest of the Saints, especially their head coach, can eat **** and die.

That rib injury really hampered him. It just didn't look like he could get the ball where it needed to go.

I've seen rumors of the making a run a Dak or Watson.....if that happens, watch out.

Of course that only if Brees walks.

I'd imagine we will find out about Brees within the next couple of weeks. Biggest question Brees would need to ask is if his body can go one more year. If he retires they will go after Watson and they have the best package to offer

I really didn't think he looked that much worse than TB. I don't think 2 of the 3 picks could be placed on him, unless Kamara ran the right route and he threw the wrong one. Bucs just made the crucial plays when they had to, especially the Cook fumble and the Tyler Johnson catch on 3rd down .....

I can’t really pin point a play but it didn’t seem like the Saints could press the Bucs down the field and were reluctant to do so. I believe his yards per attempt was very low. Working on finding that number again but if you google Brees and deep ball you can find multiple articles highlighting that it was an issue before the ribs and could only get worse after.

edit: 3.9

Drew Brees hasn't been able to throw beyond 15 yards for about 3 season. Bucs D Coordinator finally came up with a strategy to expose that situation.

This is soooo spot on Trip.  For the most part Brees played well.  A couple of those interceptions are on him.  but not the other 2 turnovers.  The Bucs were opportunistic and give the Defense credit, they came up with huge plays at the exact right time.  The Tyler Johnson catch (I love how we have 2 guys in Tampa with the same name) was incredible.  That play and the fumble recovery were huge turning points.

I felt good about this game.  The Green Bay game, I don't have the same confidence level.  Its going to take a monumental effort.  But with Brady in the groove, and if the Defense is opportunistic again, we got a real shot!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
