Nick Roberts must be the best practice player ever.  He is one of the worst DB's I've ever seen play for USF.

I'm not sure any teams will even have to throw the ball against us.  I'll be shocked if we don't have the worst run defense in the AAC and maybe the country.

I REALLY dont understand the hate Roberts gets around here. For sure, hes not great. But look at our entire Dline and LBs. Hes better than most of them, and better than Mekhi Lapointe obviously. Way better than Sanders. 

Maybe I'm missing something that everybody else is seeing. It's something I'll look for when the season begins

I really do not take this depth chart as anything we will see later. CJS made it clear all of this is just fluff until conference play.

Another thought regarding our front seven:  this is an ideal group, size-wise against a triple-option offense.  I'm willing to bet we go bigger against more traditional offenses.

I would agree, it all started with Corey and his take that the reason CCS was not successful was all because of Nick.  Because our front seven is so bad his inability to tackle or play aggressive is magnified but if he is the best we got then we go with him.  It appears teams will once again run the ball down our throat.  We can only hope that different coaching will at least energize this undersized bunch.
