Really wish they would stick with traditional combos which have always looked great. That black jersey does kinda look good, but slime green is terrible. It's repulsive. Use jerseys from the early/mid-2000's. Since then unis have not resonated well with me. We should want to look legit, not cartoonish. We want to look like we fit in with P5 teams, not gimmicky. I agree with the earlier comment that gimmicks are more acceptable if you're winning all the time, but they look so much worse when you're losing. Even then, when we had our great seasons with Taggart, gimmicky things were just reminders that we were not "big-time". Final comment- we can't do anything about it, but I really hope there is a company in our future other than Adidas, which is bargain-bin basement small-time when it comes to college football jerseys.
