That's easy, NEB.  I love USF.  I love watching our team.  I love football.  My angst arises from our assigned lot in life (conference).  If I were more mature, I would accept it and move on.  But don't hang by the neck until that happens.

Even if it’s the majority of the board (it isn’t) most fans of most programs would be taking to the streets if their program was relegated to this conference, absolutely no one grows up dreaming of being an AAC champion but everyone grows up dreaming of being in the top two in the country and being in the hunt for a national championship.

So you are cheering for USF?  To what end?  You want them to lose the AAC games?  If you don't want them to win an AAC championship why are your cheering for USF?  I really, really don't get this.  You hate the conference but the desire to cheer for USF (I assume you are cheering for them to win) would result in one of those championship if you got what you were cheering for.
