Good on him for not trying to take on everything, and knowing how to delegate. I liked how he will still be a part of it and have say in critical situations

Grow upon the vision of LRS Thank all coached for the foundation they built. Not a Broken program.

Obviously we will see if that hope turns into reality in the form of championships. I will say that, although I was in favor of and excited about the hiring of CCS, I was at the presser where they introduced him, and left a bit underwhelmed as opposed to this one where I am now fired up about the season! Not like he has been at Clemson for just the last 3 years and didnt see the growth.

So many things I liked in this press conference from start to finish. The two things that stood out to me, his immediate committal to hopping on board as a donor and the presence and support from his Clemson guys that were there in the room (yes, they are likely on a recruiting trip, but still shows what kind of a person they think CJS is). He really sounds like a stand up guy. Personally, my excitement for the program has plummeted since CWT left. Can't wait to support and follow this program under CJS. Words and when he used them impressed me. Even when media was asking silly questions. "Who will you be retaining from this staff?" I'm sure his answer really was "Nobody", but he gave the seasoned veteran answer.

It was also great to hear the President talk about the importance of athletics and his commitment to athletics. What a contrast to Chuckles presser. When they asked why USF he babbled something about high school coaches he knows in the area. All the signs were there early on with him. Oh well enough about him. Time to turn the page. Welcome Coach Scott to Bulls Nation!
