I am not on board with Taggs, however a Taggs hire with a Leavitt DC would be appealing. Not sure if that would work.

That would generate massive hype with the program.

There is no way in hell that Leavitt comes here as a DC under anybody ..... I'd be disappointed in him if he did.

I am grossly offended and I would have to think he would be, why would the person that did the most for USF to coach under the guy that arguably did a distant 2nd best? I can't imagine anyone would have the gall to ask him to take a lower position while at the same time acknowledging he never should have been fired to begin with.

Funny how the people screaming “no retreads!” for Taggart are adamantly campaigning for Leavitt.

He wouldn't be disappointed so that would be silly. Also, he could position himself as a coach in waiting for when CWT bails. This set up would also help stem any non-McMustache media backlash.  Also CJL on the trail full time would be a recruiting monster, as would CWT if the positions were swapped

True ...... but I just don't see him coming back to the program he built as a 2nd fiddle.

I think CJL as HC and CWT as OC would be the play to make if going retreads.

So earlier this week he was in Tampa recruiting and on Friday he's no longer with the program? Wonder what else happened while he was in Tampa...
