I'm really enjoying the thankfulness and kindness being shown Charlie Strong right now on twitter by some in the blogosphere.  Silence is best.  He is a good man, but a very bad program leader.   Don't waste praise on someone that drove your program to the depths we see today.  Say goodbye.  That's good enough.  We treated a winner so much worse.

Next hire cannot be a miss , if there's a chance to get to a P5 conference we can't lose to central anymore and must win championships. , it's in your court MK good luck.

Speaking of the P5. When does the next deals come up? When do you all think the next conference realignments will be? Just seeing what the timetable may be cause I think it will take USF some time to right the ship

To agree with many others. I don't like good people losing jobs.

However, when that good person has a buy out of set for life money I'm not bothered. It's best for him and for us.

Just because something has been done doesn't mean we could afford it. You are making an assumption as much as those making the assumption we couldn't afford to fire him.

For the sake of the program, we very clearly couldn’t afford NOT to fire him.

And clearly, MK felt the same.

I agree.

Possibly we could not afford either.

MH put us in a ruinous position.

Agree that we have to understand college sports and professional sports is a crazy money making business. It has become more custom now with firing million dollar coaches when they don’t produce. They can be the nicest person in the world. If they don’t win while they are making millions they have to go. This is not like most of those jobs that we have. Doesn’t mean people have to be an ***** about it though. Just with them well on their next endeavors
