This was an exciting win. Reminds me of early QF games where you can "see the light". The offense sparked against a weak GT team and an FCS team but its STILL a spark and it could catch fire.

Forget the record for a moment. Look at the narrative. We got punched in the mouth against a big ten (CFP?) contender on day 1. We woke up a bit at GT. We looked alive today.

Jordan is accurate, the defense is in your face, Ford is a speedster, Wilcox is a stud, and Sails is a machine. Livingstone too. I see talent but I also see youth. I see passion but I also see youthful errors.

And look at Bell tonight. Getting fired up at McCloud and the entire O really while routing SC st. I love it. USF plays its best football when its in your face, mean, fast, good ol streetball.

I see trouble on the schedule in Memphis, Temple, Navy... and university of clown football. I don't want to speculate about wins or losses (lets get 2 Ws first out of SMU and UConn, huh?). Buuuut if what we saw is who this team is (remember after Wisconsin... "this is not who we are"...) then we're in for some exciting football.

I'm excited about the possibilities for the first time in a while.

If that offensive line play doesn’t get fixed, we win, maybe, two more games.

Well I think Bell has to find creative ways to run the ball...cause running up the middle is going to be tough.

Joiner looked better running the ball than the Florida transfer...5.3 yards a carry compared to 3.0.  Joiner might eventually take over at RB.

We will have some learning pains with McCloud he isn't being plugged into a fine tuned high power offense. We have a great schedule that builds up with conference play with the easier teams at the start and harder teams at then end.

I see open receivers in the middle that were not seen...this offense when it gets better can put up some points I think but the 0-line will hold it back some.

They looked a little better with Harris at LT

Hopefully Bell can now start to build around McCloud and incorporate more spread plays (screens, sweeps, and quick passes), which should alleviate deficiencies on the O-Line

Good news is that we won this game as strong as we've ever beat a 1aa team.

Let's get things improved over the next two weeks and wing Game One of Conference Play.

Go BULLS !!!

Can't remember the exact time and play in the game, but my 9 year old pointed out someone running untouched and uncovered up the sideline open and goes, "He should have thrown it to that guy."

We have so many small guys that we hardly look like a division 1 team at times when I look at the field - Ford, Joiner, Sanders, Roberts, Phillips, Horne.

There are many reasons for this. But it is a growing (pun intended) problem on the O line. They did put on weight but it’s not enough and but don’t have the speed. I don’t mind the size issue if it’s at skill positions as that has been the case for a few long time with USF.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
