His sole role now is recruiting, developing young men, kicking players off team, last minute game suspensions, and getting transfers.

Hopefully Bell can fix this offense.

We cannot beat teams that have better recruiting classes than us by playing toe to toe with pocket passers. It took CWT almost 2.5 years and a players’ meeting to figure that out.

Maybe it’s time to go to other states for offensive linemen

They do that because Wisconsin is an NFL OL factory.

I was in Wichita, Kansas a couple of weeks ago and, in a grocery store I spied a huge kid walking with his mother.  Looked like an OG.  I asked him, "Do you play football?".  "Yes, sir".  "You know, you might consider spending four years in Florida.  The University of South Florida is in Tampa and we sure could use big guys on our team."  I looked to his mother and she was beaming.  Who knows?

It was a horrible performance no doubt. But the title of this thread is overreacting. The facts are that programs will rise and fall and nothing remains constant. But of course fans act like is the end of the world. I have my doubts on whether String is the guy to win here, but I also think this school, community and alumni need to step up if we really want to win consistently..

1. That IPF needs to start to be build now. As proof that we are willing to step up

2. Attendance is still an issue and Friday was another example of that.

3. Mediocrity should not be tolerated. After 7 losses in a row String should be in the hot seat.

Oh no attendance is not going up. But it was a sad sign that after pumping up in the offseason and high hopes plus an ESPN game vs a ranked team half the stadium was Wisconsin fans. That’s a sad example of our support

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
