Well it was no quality depth last year. Macon and Studstill, Burnett and maybe Sails are much better than anything that we had at those positions last year. They were brought here for a reason.

LMAO Hampton is much better than Burnett. Hampton will play on Sundays.....

In run support, (which is critical because everyone is going to try to run on us because everyone did run on us last year) we are in trouble with him playing major minutes, IMO, no basis except what I saw from him last year.

Got no problem at all with assessments based on that ..... it's when one tries to support their opinion with ******** about mythical headlines focusing on the transfers is when the shaking of the head begins.

So have you seen Burnett play? So you can say he won't play in Sundays? If Sails is eligible, Robert's could possibly be behind Sails, Burnett, Evans Hampton...if you move him down in.the box, he would be behind Studstill and Davis.

Point being, there is much better talent overall in the secondary.

Can the NCAA just hurry up and approve KJ Sails already... How long are they going to make the man wait.

These transfers didn't have to be accepted into the program. Strong went and got them because the talent pool was really that bad. You can try to fool yourselves and say that these guys aren't good, but they may have been part of a numbers game at p5 schools not void of talent. Our d was depleted of talent last year.

You started this thread with the premise that because some names were or weren't being mentioned "somewhere" some of the starters from last year are out of here .... totally ludicrous. Nobody has said that these guys coming in aren't good, strawman. Why would CCS bring bad players in here? There may have been some depletion of talent last year but I think lack of experience was a bigger overall problem. Bottom line, you bring in transfers to improve your program whether it be by starting them or to provide depth ......... and it doesn't really matter which (well, to most people) as long it's helping the team.

Circular argument as it relates to thread title.

You keep annointing Burnett but he's not taking Hampton's spot, period. It's comical how little you know about this roster outside of CCS's transfers. All I have know about Burnett is I've actually heard Robert's name in the practice reports, Burnett not so much. Same for Sanders who's you attempt too write off.

How did those Duke transfers work out for Charlie? Not  all transfers hit, no matter how hard you wish in your CCS PJs..
