Duke guys bombed, some of these transfers will make an impact and others may not ever see the field. UF  transfers  have worked out well in the past, McFarland, Dunkley, Kronkrite etc.. so I think Burnett may as well, some would say UF is a better F-ball school than Duke, if all the transfers do work out then I may invest in some CCS PJ’s as well. However I am with all of you, Hampton will play on Sundays.

I was checking into USF's S&P+ ranking and saw how we ranked in 2016. We had the 8th best offense and the 110th best defense. It's crazy how much our offense carried our defense. If we just had 2017's middling defense with 2016's offensive output we would have absolutely gone undefeated.

Well the portal was not available when they came. CCS went and got this bunch. Sorry to ruin your fun.

This literally makes not sense.  While the term transfer portal is a very new thing, transfers aren't.  They don't all workout.  Sometimes guys just aren't that good.  USF has traditionally done well with transfers... even before the portal. I'm still clueless as to why you even state that. He has been taking transfers since he arrived and we have done fantastic with transfers in the past... how old is the portal?

He made a broad assertion about the Duke players as though if they were the metric on how to judge the guys like Macon and Studstill, who were sought after by the staff, opposed to guys just transferring in with the hopes of a chance. The portal provides and opportunity for schools to go looking for players at other schools, who previously could not be contacted by other schools, like the Duke players.

Dude, transfers used to have to walk, drive a car or ride on a train, bus, or plane to get to USF, now they can use that expensive teleportation portal to join the USF football team.  It was really tough to get transfers on campus during the CWT era.

Yea we are just a week away...have a bad feeling he might not get approved this season.  Hope I'm wrong.

It would have been easier for CWTs transfers to get around campus and town if he didn’t break their feet.
