Here are my predictions for this contract:

1) It's not going to be a major raise.

2) We won't have more than 2 games broadcast online only.

3) No one is leaving the conference.

The AAC of 2019 will look exactly like the AAC of 2018. We'll be solidly the 6th best conference in revenue and production on the field.

So is the Grant of Rights still on the table, which locks the schools in to conference membership? That's a big question.

As long as the deal hits atleast 8mil it's a good deal for us.

Unless the Big East gets a much better deal in 2025 I don't see UCONN leaving. As it stands now, the Big East teams get about $4 million per year and their contract is in place until 2025. UCONN might decide that the cost of a football program isn't worth it, but the Big East's tv deal wouldn't bring them substantialy more money.

If they are not playing football on the AAC no way in hell they are staying. Their entire fan base is clamoring for a return to the BE.

No that is off the table. Five teams were not willing to do that.

The USF brass has been silent on all this so I am not expecting much when the details are released.

Who isn't silent during negotiations?
