The article also states that those schools in the last two tiers (USF is in the last) probably would not get in right now. This due to the fact that those teams that win win the regular season conference title but not the conference tournament get an auto bid to the NIT.

I would prefer to see us win some games in the NIT over being a "one and done" in the NCAA tournament.  It would seem to me that it would have more value than having the ability to say that we were "an NCAA Tournament team".

Why must we have these discussions every 8 years or so. NCAA is better. Period.

If the Men's NIT held as many teams as the Womens, 32 vs 64, we would be in as a 12 seed, as of today.

Didn't even have to look past this to know there were going to be repercussions and wasn't disappointed. Reminds me of a huge debate char and I were involved in way back when .... which would you prefer if you had a choice, winning the NIT or a one and done in the NCAA's.

you're assuming we'd be an one and done. Also, I'll always take a bid in the NCAA over the NIT no matter what.  More money and it says your team is good.  Better for recruiting and better if you're building to make a run.
