Win out in the regular season. We've played very few teams ranked 50+ and we've lost all of them. Close but no cigar doenst usually cut it.

Flashing back to when I first saw the schedule - there is a thread on it.   Some discussion but many agreeing, myself included, this was the type of schedule this rebuild needed.....we sort of turned out better than most thought and certainly better than the schedule.  We could have afforded greater competition.  But it's a process and I shall follow the process.

Oh I completely agree with your take and said the exact same thing in that thread. We needed that schedule for this team and the strategy worked perfectly. I don’t think anyone is going to be upset if we don’t make the ncaa Tournament.  What we lost in quality opponents we gained in confidence and this is more important. Next year this team will be a top 4 pick in the conference.

This schedule is what we need to purge the memory of the xCOA debacle.  Even watching the 10-win season last year, you saw a "no-quit" work ethic that you could see will pay dividends.  I can't wait to see the students get involved again to make the YC a formidable place for opponents.

i just thought we could win 17 games with the schedule we have.  Now I think we can win the conference tournament.  I think we will... People are acting like it can't happen. Oh... it's so happening this year.  This next win at SMU will make some start to bullieve.
