Well, our main scapegoat was just officially hired by Mcneese State. I’ve 100% been on the “fire Gilbert” train, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I feel unsettled about this solely falling on him. I’m concerned that Strong plays a larger role in this, and if we don’t see major changes to a scheme it could get ugly. Not trying to be negative but I still need to be convinced.

We've seen in a few games that we have the plays.  They just seem not to have been called at the right time.  On top of that, it seemed that Gilbert's sphincter slammed shut when he got in the red zone.

100%. With that said, let’s hope this is viewed as a wake up call for CCS to hand the keys over to an experience OC and let him handle that side of the ball. This would be for the betterment of the program and his bank account

He has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to lose by doing that. It needs to happen.
