Judging by the Box Score, looks very possible that Boyd didn't start. He was definitely in late.....

That's right... Kyle Parker was the starter and he got yanked.  By the end of the season him and Boyd were splitting reps, I remember we didn't know who would start going into the game.

gosh... that seems so long ago

Parker was the baseball guy, wasn't he .....?

Yes.  They had high hopes for him, but he regressed.

It was originally reported that Gilbert wouldn’t retain any of the previous coaches. Interesting that it appears he has changed his mind.

McNeese State (FCS – LA): Head coach Sterlin Gilbert has retained Tyler Bolfing (TEs), Alec Osborne (DEs), & Landon Hoefer (OC / WRs) as part of his new staff, per source.

I think it was obvious that Williams, Burke, and any of the defensive coaches wouldn't want to go with Gilbert.   Only coach I think may make the jump is Mattox after the bowl but that's just because him and Gilbert have been attached at the hip for the majority of their career and are reportedly BFF's off the field too.

So we lose coaches for two of the most deficient areas on the team? Me likey.

It wasn't a sports reporter, it was a football gossip site with their myriad of unnamed sources ...
